Table Rock Lake:
With the warm weather this year so far, the bass have really moved up and some
are even spawning right now. Water temps have been in the mid to lower 70's
already. With the full moon coming up, most of the fish will be on the beds in the
next week or so. Best techniques right now are jigs, shakey heads in the spawning
pockets in 8 - 10ft. of water. Most of the fish are on secondary points to half way
back in the coves. Some fish are also being caught on super flukes in these same
areas around boat docks. The A-rig is still working in the same areas as well, but
the fish are more concentrated on crawfish right now and not actively chasing shad,
yet. After the spawn is over, the A-rig should be on fire!!
Bull Shoals Lake:
Been fishing the upper end of Bull Shoals near K Dock and up to the Dam. Mostly
concentrating on white bass or walleye. This has been a great year so far for both.
The A-rig has been catching large numbers of white bass as they make their way
up river for the spawn. We have been catching 3-4lb females on the spawning flats,
with a few walleye thrown in also. Best places have been where the channel
makes a sharp turn into a shallow flat.
Good luck and good fishing!
